Another May, another Mother’s Day! To help celebrate all the wonderful mothers out there, we hosted Helpful Honda Pop-up Spas over Mother’s Day weekend that included complimentary mini manicures and massages for moms, moms-to-be, grandmothers, and even great-grandmothers. There were also free gifts like our Helpful Honda “Blue-La-La” nail polish, nail files, and more, for moms to take home.

This year, we popped up in five different locations including grocery store lots in Burbank and Colton, the Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine, the Rockin’ Mother’s Day Race in Long Beach, and Dodgers Stadium. A grateful mother at the Dodgers game said, “To tell you the truth I’m not a huge baseball fan. My kids wanted to come today, however you guys have made my day. This manicure is beautiful and I love the fact the colors are Dodger and Honda!”

Our goal was to make moms feel appreciated and recognized for all their hard work on their special day. We wanted a chance to pamper them and help mothers feel loved. One mother at Ralphs in Burbank expressed her gratitude by saying, “Life has been hard lately, but you guys made me forget about all of it for a little while. I never could have pampered myself like this on my own. I just want you to know how special this experience was for me.” Another mom at Colton was also thankful and said, “This really made my Mother’s Day. I’m going to have fond memories of this grocery store for the rest of my life.”

So what’s next for us? We know June is Dad’s special month, so to show our appreciation for all the hard-working dads across SoCal, we will once again be hosting our Helpful Honda Pop-Up Shaves! Residents across SoCal can also look forward to our Tanker Truck, which will be out every #TankerTuesday and #TankerThursday through the 4th of July holiday.
