This October, we celebrated Halloween all month long with our Helpful Hondaween festivities across Southern California. We set out to spread Helpful Hondaween cheer by handing out free pumpkins and visiting children at local hospitals and youth organizations!

We stopped by local pumpkin patches to surprise families with THOUSANDS of FREE pumpkins. This scary-good surprise continued from LA County and Orange County, to Riverside County, San Bernardino County and Ventura County, and everywhere in between. One appreciative mother told us, “I have four kids. You don’t know how helpful this is, thank you!”

At a pumpkin patch in Lancaster we surprised the AYSO special needs soccer team with free pumpkins, pails filled with Halloween goodies, costumes, and pumpkin decorations. We brought the party to local children’s hospitals and organizations. We surprised the children with various costumes, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, and free glow in the dark pails for trick-or-treating! At one local hospital, the children competed in a costume contest, as they raced to dress us up in the best costumes. One nurse was delighted with the visit and she told us, “Thank you for coming up guys, you have no idea how special this is for our children.”

So, what’s next for us? To continue the holiday celebrations, the we’ll be back with a Tanker Truck of FREE gas for Honda drivers during the busy traveling season. We’ll also be celebrating the holidays with our Helpful Honda Treats Truck.
