To help celebrate mothers during their special day, we surprised moms with complimentary manicures and massages with Pop-Up Spas throughout SoCal. Moms, moms-to-be, grandmothers, and even great-grandmothers were treated to some much-needed relaxation and pampering. After the special spa service, each mom was also gifted a nail file and Helpful Honda blue nail polish.

During Mother’s Day weekend, we popped up at local grocery store parking lots in Pasadena, Hollywood, and Corona. One unsuspecting mom in Pasadena expressed her gratefulness when she said, “I’ve never had a manicure in my life, this is so nice! I will always remember Helpful Honda for doing my nails on Mother’s Day.” In Hollywood, another mother who was thankful for the generosity said, “I never get pampered like this because I can’t afford it. It’s so generous of you to do this for us for free.”

Along with our public events, we also partnered with the Fisher House in West LA, a home away from home for veterans and their families while they’re receiving medical treatment, and the Mommy & Me Cancer Foundation, a foundation that provides assistance to hundreds of young families faced with cancer. We surprised guests at their Mother’s Day celebrations and brought some well-deserved spa treatments to their clients and families. A guest from the Fisher House expressed her gratitude and said, “This is such a blessing. The people living here are so stressed out about their loved ones and would never have the time to go pamper themselves. You really made a difference in people’s lives today.”

So what’s next? We know June is Dad’s special month, so to show our appreciation for all the hard-working fathers across SoCal, we will once again be hosting our Helpful Honda Pop-Up Shaves! Residents across SoCal can also look forward to our Tanker Truck, which will be out every #TankerTuesday and #TankerThursday through the 4th of July holiday.
