Lending a Helpful Hand this Holiday Season
Everyone deserves a little holiday magic, and this holiday season, SoCal Helpful Honda spread that cheer with tasty treats, Christmas goodies, and New Year’s surprises!
Our Helpful Honda team ventured out to local Christmas tree lots and volunteered at charities across Southern California, and popped up at an elementary school to give residents a little extra holiday cheer!
Heading into the holidays, plenty of parents worry about affording the Christmas their kids deserve. From buying a tree and decorations to preparing holiday meals and purchasing presents, the costs quickly add up. The Guys in Blue wanted to help alleviate as much of that stress as we could, so families could focus on enjoying the time they had with their loved ones!
To kick off the season, we set up two wishing trees at the Honda Center and Plaza West Covina, where anyone could leave a wish for the Helpful Honda team…uh, we mean Santa, to grant! A big, blue Treats Truck even met us for some extra holiday excitement! The treats truck was filled with all different kinds of yummy desserts, including Rice Krispy Treats and cinnamon candy canes! We also stopped to lend a hand at some special holiday charity events. We delivered Boston Market meals to families, elders, and children and brought some fun activities and crafts for everyone to work on together. One grateful individual exclaimed, “God bless you all. I am so thankful for everything you’ve done for us today.”
We will continue to spread the love with exciting Valentine’s Day surprises this new year. One hopeful Honda driver asked, “I’ve been looking for something special but inexpensive to do for Valentine’s Day; is Honda giving anything away this year?” Stay tuned for our updates!
